Ayodele has been with us from three months of age. We don't know her father nor mother. She was brought to our center by an elder lady.

Ayodele was delivered by an elder lady when her mother committed suicide. Ayodele’s father was a rebel fighting against the government. Her mother was captured by rebels and was used as sex slave. Four or five men will have sex with her and this resulted to her pregnancy with Ayodele.

She managed to escaped the cruelty of her god forsaken captors, by then she was carrying a child. She stayed with the elder woman who accommodated her after she explained her situation.

Ayodele’s mother was later found in the bathroom dead after drinking rat poison. In her suicide note, she explain she could not bear the shame and disgrace she had went through with her captors. We have her suicide note in our file and this is how Ayodele came to stay in our custody.
